Kuching, Sarawak.

Hi!

Seems like I haven't write for quite a long time. I am currently enjoying my semester holiday which will be ended like 2 weeks from now. *sigh*

Today, I'd like to write on my family trip to Kuching, Sarawak for 3 days 3 nights.

We went there during my final exam's study week and I didn't feel any regret because family is way precious than study, right! Haha

Went to Kuching by AirAsia flight, departed from KLIA2. It took more or less 1.5 hours to arrive Kuching International Airport.

Upon our arrival, it was already dark so we straightly headed to the homestay and zzZZZ~

DAY 1: Pasar Serikin, Pasar Satok, Cat Statues of Kuching.

Hot and sunny day at Pasar Serikin.
I bought a blouse, kain batik and a cowboy hat (you know why) lol.

An evening at Pasar Satok.
Ordered Sarawak's famous highlight, kek lapis (layered cake) to bring back home.
Trust me, the cadbury choc and strawberry cheese flavors were to die for!

Cat statues at a roundabout somewhere in Kuching.
Poor thing, there's no parking space for people who want to drop by and take pictures.
Nevertheless, I managed to temporarily be the center of attention by posing like an onggile (crazy person) haha!

DAY 2: Jong's Crocodile Farm, Matang Family Park, Top Spot Seafood Food Court.

A video of food feeding for the crocodiles.
(the size has been reduced for easier uploading, so the quality on full screen is quite suck)
Just hit your mute button if you wish not to hear any annoying background sound because there's a lot especially the "Dia kata daging kat sini banyaaaak" hahahaha

Around the fish pond.

I love it! The scene looked greenly beautiful.

Finishing our visit at Jong's Crocodile Farm with some family snapshots.
Couldn't resist to love this candid pose the most. :')

Next stop was Matang Family Park.
A clean place to have a family picnic, which also means that you have to pay per head to enter this park haha.

My Pak Yong was satisfying his eyes with picturesque views of Allah's creation but first,
"let me take a picture!" :p

A space where we had our lunch here.
Nasi, sardin, telur, gila ko tak sedap time tengah lapar!
There were shops too for those who want to buy food and drinks.

Was not planning to get wet but my Paman Un pulled me into the river to join his jom-basah club! -.-

Water squirting by the kids taught by their bad kakak saudara, ME! *peace*

The unpaid model of Majalah Mangga Edisi Terhad, my Paman Ipu.

The river was quite shallow with. The water stream was rather slow-flowing.
Pandelela Rinong will definitely dislike this place. *sports joke leulz*

Enough of having a fun time at the river.

Oh my weird boyfriend. "Floating" on the land very happily.
As weird as me. Tu namanya jodoh kuat. XD

At night, we served our mouth and stomach with seafood at Top Spot Food Court.
The place is very famous in Kuching, crowded with many people at night.

We ate crabs (masak apa tah tapi manis), butter prawns, steamed fishes, a vegetable called medin (masak belacan kot), and even sea cucumber soup! Surprisingly it tasted good. :D

DAY 3: Kuching Waterfront, Dayang Salhah Cake House, Kuching International Airport.

Last day of our visit in Kuching, we went to Kuching Waterfront.
Near the place, there's Kuching Main Bazaar where you can buy souvenirs.
I bought quite a lot for my family and me.
My tips is, survey the things you want to buy at different shops because some shops can offer you cheaper price than the other shops. Otherwise, you will regret later hehe. Unless you're rich. *campak duit dalam Sungai Sarawak*

River cruise! We were not cruising with that big and expensive boat but only by a smaller size one.
Besides, the large boat was too spacious for all of us so the smaller one was just nicely loaded ecehh.

As you can see, across the river is a village where people live.
There are also numerous mini cake factories located there which one of them, was a place that we went.

We went here!
Dayang Salhah Cake House.

Some of the layered cakes!
I just bought one as I've already bought a lot at Pasar Satok.
Glad that the Pasar Satok ones taste better! ;p

Done! Around 6PM my flight departed from Kuching International Airport to KLIA2.

The family-bonding trip was full of fun and lovely memories, Alhamdulillah :)

Thanks to those who supported me financially, physically, and mentally(?) hahaha.
Please grant them happiness and blessing wherever they are, Ya Allah.

Footnote: I keep thinking of having a trip to Japan! May Allah ease, pray for me. Hihii *insert monkey emoji*
